UK VISA SERVICE
Student Visa (formerly Tier 4)
From your CAS letter to your Graduate Route visa — your complete education-to-settlement pathway in the United Kingdom.
Student Visa Essentials
The Student visa allows you to study a full-time course at a UK education provider that holds a Student sponsor licence. Key requirements: • A valid Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from a licensed sponsor • Proof of financial maintenance (tuition + living costs for up to 9 months) • English language proficiency at B2 level (for degree-level courses) • Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) certificate (if applicable) • Valid TB test certificate (if from a listed country)
Financial Requirements
You must demonstrate you can cover: • Your full course fees (or remaining fees if partially paid) • Living costs: £1,334/month (London) or £1,023/month (outside London) for up to 9 months Funds must be held for 28 consecutive days. The 28th day must fall within 31 days of your application date. I help students navigate the complexities of financial evidence — including how to present bank statements from overseas institutions in a format the Home Office accepts.
Graduate Route Visa
After completing your degree, the Graduate Route visa allows you to stay and work in the UK: • Bachelor's or Master's degree: 2-year work visa • PhD: 3-year work visa No sponsorship required. No minimum salary. You can work in any role and switch to a Skilled Worker visa at any time during the Graduate Route — giving you a bridge to permanent settlement.
Education-to-ILR Strategy
1. Student Visa Application — Comprehensive application with CAS, financials, and English evidence 2. Graduate Route — I prepare your application before your final term ends 3. Skilled Worker Switch — Once you secure sponsored employment, I transition you to a Skilled Worker visa 4. ILR — After 5 years on a qualifying route, I manage your settlement application 5. British Citizenship — The final step in your UK journey I plan your entire route from day one — because the decisions you make as a student directly impact your eligibility for settlement.
